Terms, Conditions and Refund Policy

1. Introduction

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Snow Notary, including Mobile Notary Services, Loan Signing Agent services, Process Serving, Field & Property Inspections, Document Preparation, Training Services, Digital Products, and Online Notary Directory Listings.

By scheduling an appointment, purchasing a product, enrolling in training, or submitting information, you agree to these Terms.

2. Not a Law Firm – No Legal Advice

We are not attorneys and do not provide legal advice.
Document preparation and training services are clerical and educational only.

For legal questions or interpretation, consult a licensed attorney.

3. Identification Requirements

Clients must provide valid, government-issued, unexpired photo identification.
If ID cannot be verified, we will decline service and travel fees remain non-refundable.

4. Right to Refuse Service

We may refuse service under any of the following:

  • Suspicion of coercion, fraud, or incapacity
     
  • Unsafe or hostile environment
     
  • Invalid ID
     
  • Illegal, unethical, or incomplete documents
     
  • Noncompliance with these Terms
     

5. Mobile Notary Travel Fees

Travel fees are separate from notarial acts and are non-refundable once a notary has been dispatched.

6. Appointment Policies

a. Wait Time

15 minutes included; additional time billed per posted rates.

b. No-Shows/Late Arrivals

Failure to appear or be prepared may result in no-show fees.

c. Cancellations

Cancellations within 2 hours of appointment may incur partial or full fees.

7. Loan Signing Services

  • Errors by the notary are corrected at no charge.
     
  • Errors caused by the lender, title company, or signer require reprint/travel fees.
     
  • Scanbacks, printing, and extended travel billed separately.
     

8. Process Serving Terms

  • Attempts include timestamped documentation.
     
  • Incorrect addresses result in extra charges.
     
  • No guarantee of successful service for evasive individuals.
     

9. Field & Property Inspections

These are visual-only inspections.
No structural, legal, or valuation guarantees are made.

10. Courier Services

We are not responsible for delays due to weather, closures, postal carriers, or third-party transportation.

11. Document Preparation

Document preparation is clerical only.
We do not:

  • Give legal advice
     
  • Select forms for clients
     
  • Guarantee legal outcomes
     

Client is responsible for accuracy of information.

12. Accuracy of Information

You certify that all information provided is complete and correct.
We are not liable for losses resulting from incorrect information.

13. Payment Terms

  • Payment due upon service unless invoiced.
     
  • Accepted forms: cash, card, electronic payment, business invoice.
     
  • Returned payments may be sent to collections.
     

14. Non-Refundable Fees

Non-refundable fees include:

  • Travel fees
     
  • Printing fees
     
  • Rush fees
     
  • Courier/mailing costs
     
  • Digital products
     
  • Downloadable lists
     
  • Training courses (unless otherwise stated)
     

15. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
We are not liable for:

  • Lost profits
     
  • Delays
     
  • Legal outcomes
     
  • Third-party errors or negligence
     

16. Privacy & Confidentiality

We protect all client information with reasonable security measures.
Information may be shared only when required by:

  • Notary law
     
  • Court order/subpoena
     
  • Fraud prevention
     
  • Process service requirements
     

We do not sell or share personal information for marketing.

17. Recordkeeping

Journal entries, thumbprints, or retained files are maintained only as required by law.

18. Directory Listing Terms

If you use our notary directory or apply to be added:

  • You certify that your information is accurate.
     
  • We reserve the right to approve, edit, or remove listings.
     
  • Directory listings do not guarantee work or employment.
     
  • Misuse of platform may result in suspension or removal.
     

19. Intellectual Property

All materials, training content, digital files, templates, forms, lists, videos, and proprietary content are owned by Snow Notary.

You may not:

  • Reproduce
     
  • Sell
     
  • Distribute
     
  • Upload
     
  • Share
     
  • Reverse engineer
     

any content without written permission.

Violations may result in civil action or termination of access.

20. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan, or your service location.
Disputes shall be resolved in Wayne or Macomb County courts unless otherwise required.

21. Updates to Terms

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use equals acceptance.

🔵 22. NOTARY TRAINING TERMS OF USE

By enrolling in any training, course, webinar, mentoring, or digital program you agree:

22.1 Educational Purpose Only

Training is informational only.
We do not guarantee:

  • Employment
     
  • Loan signing assignments
     
  • State commission approval
     
  • Income levels
     
  • Passing scores on exams
     

22.2 No Legal Advice

Training does not replace professional legal guidance.

22.3 Intellectual Property Protection

All training materials are copyrighted.
You may not share login access, screenshots, downloads, or recordings.

22.4 Non-Transferable Access

Course access is for one individual only.
Resale or transfer is prohibited.

22.5 Expiration of Access

Unless stated otherwise, digital course access may expire after:

  • 6 months
     
  • 12 months
     
  • Or as posted at time of purchase
     

22.6 Technology Requirements

Client is responsible for having:

  • Internet access
     
  • Device compatibility
     
  • Ability to download PDFs/videos
     

No refunds are provided for technical limitations on the client’s end.

  • Vendor lists

  • Training guides
     
  • Checklists
     
  • Marketing materials
     

23.1 Immediate Access

Due to instant delivery, all digital products are final sale.

23.2 License

Purchases include a single-user license for personal and business use.
You may not:

  • Redistribute
     
  • Sell
     
  • Share
     
  • Post online
     
  • Rebrand
     
  • Upload to social media
     
  • Upload to training groups or forums
     

23.3 Updates

If updates are included, you may receive revisions for free or at a reduced rate depending on product type.

23.4 Accuracy

Lists and resources are provided “AS-IS.”
We do not guarantee:

  • Hiring decisions
     
  • Response times
     
  • Vendor availability
     
  • Business outcomes or profits

🔵 25. REFUND POLICY

25.1 Services (Notary, Process Serving, Courier)

Refunds are NOT issued for:

  • Travel fees
     
  • No-shows
     
  • Late arrivals
     
  • Incorrect addresses
     
  • Cancellations after travel begins
     

25.2 Loan Signings

No refunds once documents are printed or travel has occurred.

25.3 Digital Products

ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS for:

  • Downloadable files
     
  • Lists
     
  • Templates
     
  • E-books
     
  • Online courses
     
  • Training guides
     

All digital products are final sale.

25.4 Training

Refunds may be issued only if:

  • The course has not been started
     
  • The request is made within 24 hours
     
  • No materials have been downloaded
     

Otherwise, training fees are non-refundable.

25.5 Chargebacks

Chargebacks or fraud attempts may result in:

  • Termination of access
     
  • Referral to collections
     
  • Legal action
